Design - Design - Design - Design -

The design is the phase where we start to create what, up until that moment, was just an image. A delicate set of activities where the foundations of the product are finalized. A correct planning is therefore an essential requirement for a good outcome of the final product. Thanks to a totally Italian management and synergical work of our specialize technicians, we offer a mixture of knowledge, actions, methology and tools, which allow us to organize and produce specifically for a logical-functional planning able to conclude with the correct performance of the product

WE DESIGN THE FUTURE

Research and design

To establish the bases of all of the phases of the production of the process.

Prototype and validation

To reinforce aspects, design and functions.

The idea development

To create the industrial 3d design.

Test and refinement

To guarantee the correct functioning and adaptation to the market.

“Success depends upon previous preparation, and without such preparation there is sure to be failure.”
CONFUCIO

Our approach to the planning developes mainly in 4 phases: beginning, definition and planning, performance and implementation, control and conclusion.

  1. Beginning: In this phase the idea of the plan is taken into consideration, defining a radius of action of the plan and the results that we wish to obtain. The final result of this phase is the plan of the project.
  2. Planning: In this crucial phase, the guide lines of the plan are sketched. These include, but do not restrict to: establish goals and concrete targets, evaluate the costs, define the radius of action and the results to be reached.
  3. Performance: The phase in which the plan acquires external visibility by means of the creation of a complete and accurate research. This is the most delicate and complex phase because it is in this moment that we create the industrial design that should result in the process of production and the final product.
  4. Conclusion: We define a finished plan only when the finished product is accomplished, tested and delivered to the client.
FEASIBILITY STUDY AND ANALYSIS

The study highlights the strong and weak points of the project, considers the opportunities and risks and estimates the chances of success. Benetti Hub undertakes to analyze and recommends options of alternative development enabling them to offer solutions which, with greater probability, can reach the specified goals of the client.

INDUSTRIAL DESIGN

The beauty must encounter the functional, otherwise nothing has sense. Our Product Designer and Industrial Designer are involved in the planning of beautiful and functional products keeping in account both technical requirements of the product and the needs and wishes of the client.
The requests of the client are the point of departure to begin the creative process and give a first visual rendition of concepts and data. An idea to be beautiful and functional must be feasible, so a continuous interface with our engineers to optimize the process of engineering of the project is essential.

MOLD DESIGN

The phase of design necessary for the development of the mold is carried out by the technical studio through specific software of solid 3D modelling. The 3D models transferred to the CAD-CAM office will be the soul of the mold.

REVERSE ENGINEERING

The reverse engineering is the reconstruction with mathematical surfaces of the polygonal model. Such an approach is the path to take should the development of a product begin from a prototypal sample or should it be necessary to modify particulars which are not supported from the mathematical model.
The surface reconstruction is precious, furthermore, for the management of alterations, the restoration, the duplication of molds and not only.
The reverse engineering also finds a purpose in the design phase of the product where sometimes the starting point is represented by a physical prototype that must be scanned, rebuilt with surfaces and refined to CAD.

PROTOTYPE

The prototype is the fundamental element to be able to evaluate the fulfilled project in a complete and impartial way.
To not prototype would mean missing important information for a good outcome of the product. The phase of prototype is the phase that allows an analysis of the product, collects feedback, makes decisions, discovers opportunities of improvement to avoid wasting time and budget.
Thanks to our systems of rapid prototype, we are able to offer our clients pieces in short time and reduced costs. Only when the prototype reaches approval from the client can the phase of creation of the mold begin.
